I'm a web and software developer, born and bred in the Republic of Ireland and currently residing in Meerbusch-Büderich, near Düsseldorf, in Germany.

I am the author of HTML5 Multimedia: Develop and Design, published by Peachpit.

I have also written a number of articles on HTML5 and other web development topics.

In addition, I also curate at HTML5 Gallery.

Besides web development I can usually be found with my nose deep in a history book or out walking in the countryside.
